I admit that I do not catch on to ideas quickly enough, even if they are my own. This journal should have materialised when I moved to Taipei; talk about capitalising on an overseas education in the hopes of a possible book deal. Anyway, it’s always better late than never.

Born and raised in Singapore; Chinese and therefore bilingual. Escaped the mandatory education at NUS/NTU, flew to Taipei in a hurry to realise one of the best decisions I have ever made, which is both not staying in Singapore and not leaving for the States.

I major in Speech Communication at Shih Hsin University, the only Speech Communication department in Asia. We are involved with the study of rhetorics and face-to-face communication.

I began writing online at the end of 2002, moving my archives from OpenDiary to Blogger, then to Livejournal, to Blogger again, simultaneously writing at Wretch, and finally settled at WordPress for now. The entries available at this address have arrived from all over.

I like the idea of being in my heyday perpetually.
