與Daisy在Broadway上相見、擁抱;阿姨窩心卻不完全放心的眼神目送我們散步到Pier 39。太陽很大,卻大不過刺骨的風,其實第一眼的舊金山跟接下來的都一樣,這裡有回家的感覺。

Green Tortoise在一樓有個很大的International Lounge,晚上歡迎大家聽歌、唱歌、狂歡,白天是很規矩的早餐室。第一道舊金山的陽光在這裡照進來,我們吃著很美式的bagel和咖啡,研究這個城市的地圖,呼吸流浪的空氣,等待Daisy的參與。

美國大的很無聊,我們各自翻著旅游書,偶爾聊個天,不然就唱唱歌,再來就昏睡。美國電影裡的Greyhound常常是危險發生的地方,因為有錢人都開車,只有貧民百姓會把暴力和麻煩帶上來。現實中乘搭灰狗的population也很colourful,有帶著小孩的母親,黑人夫婦,西班牙裔家庭,流浪的青少年。

一大清早我們就拖著她們的一大堆行李來到了L.A.的Greyhound Station前往舊金山。我的行李箱小不啦機的,到處趴趴走沒問題。可是品和游從西雅圖搬回來的行李像搬家那麼大,旅程才要開始呢。

中途有一段時間以為我會獨自搭上飛往洛杉磯的飛機與品和游會合,不過波折的都過去了,照著原定計劃,我昨晚住在泱的豪宅,今天一起從桃園飛到L.A.,朝夕相處超過24個小時。感謝泱爸爸泱媽媽熱情招待,還有行李箱上的黃色小絲帶。
